| About Our Business Talisman Equine Veterinary Services, LLC, was founded in 2001 in Phoenix, Arizona. The "one-of-a-kind" practice took off like wildfire, as the need for a holistically minded veterinarian who offered traditional care, along with alternative and complimentary forms of veterinary medicine was in high demand. |

Dr Thurman, along with her husband, Curtis Jessee, EqD, relocated to Eastland, Texas in the spring
of 2005 with the desire to raise their daughter, Cierra, in a small town, country environment.

The clinic is located on their 65 acre ranch, where Dr. Cyd and

Along with Dr. Thurman, our staff includes Curtis
Jessee, who is a certifed equine dental technician, as
well as our own certified equine massage therapist,
Debbie Curtis.

While not offering surgery or extensive
in-patient services at the present, our facility

Our specialty is in working up the difficult, hard to diagnose,
lameness cases. The ones in which the owner often expresses,
